At NorthShore, our highest priority is your health and safety. As your healthcare partner, we understand the concern and anxiety you may feel about the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Chicagoland and globally.
First and foremost, if you have any of the following symptoms: fever, cough, congestion, sore throat, runny nose, difficulty breathing, decreased sense of smell or taste, or muscle aches with flu-like symptoms OR had contact with a person with confirmed COVID-19 infection OR had contact with a person under investigation (someone who has been tested for COVID-19 and is awaiting results), please call your physician, contact our community health hotline at 847.432.5849 or begin an E-Visit through NorthShoreConnect. Contacting us through one of these methods prior to an in-person visit will help us care for you most effectively.
Call 911 if you have a medical emergency and alert the dispatch if you have respiratory symptoms.
If you do not have symptoms, please understand that we cannot test you. We must ensure we can provide care throughout our communities to those with the most immediate need. Your best resource for updates and information on COVID-19 is /covid19. Please continue to follow healthy and safe practices:
While COVID-19 is new, preparing for this kind of health emergency isn’t new to NorthShore. We’re fully ready to isolate and manage any suspected and confirmed cases. Further, we are implementing additional visitor screenings and heightened restrictions at our hospitals to better protect our staff while serving patients who come through our doors with other medical needs.
Thank you for your trust and support as we continue to keep our focus on the health and safety of you and your family.
